Christopher Ward Studio designed this stunning three-story contemporary home that is located in Reggio Emilia, a city in northern Italy. Constructed in 2015, this home is surrounded by a lush landscape with spacious outdoor living areas for the whole family to enjoy. The spaces consist of lounge areas, a cozy outdoor fire pit and an outdoor kitchen and eating space for dining al fresco.
Some lounge areas are covered to shade the homeowners and their guests from the elements. The exterior facade is very appealing, comprised of stone, concrete, wood and glass. The multi-levels allow for balcony spaces to enjoy the fresh country air and the spectacular views.
Wooden louvers on a covered outdoor seating area helps to provide shade while allowing some light to filter through.
Comfortable furnishings provides a relaxing space to entertain and enjoy the views and fresh air of the Italian countryside.

A sectional lounge chair wraps around a wood burning fire fit to comfortably enjoy the outdoor ambiance in the evenings. An expansive wood decking offers the homeowners plenty of space to entertain guests. A concrete dining table provides space for six diners to eat outdoors. Additional guests can sit next to the fire. A built-in barbecue adds to this luxe outdoor setting.
What We Love: With a touch of rusticity on the outside of this three-story contemporary home and clean lines on the interiors, this home chalk full of visual eye-candy. Loving the outdoor fire pit, the indoor fireplace in the living room and all of the custom details throughout. The exterior living spaces offers an incredibly relaxing oasis to really enjoy this home throughout the year. The wood staircase that connects all three levels is pretty spectacular as well.
