This newly designed transitional style residence was recently completed by Denver-based Andrea Schumacher Interiors, located in Boulder, Colorado. The dwelling features an open concept floor plan and luminous spaces thanks to large expanses of glass windows. The dining room is truly a wonderful feature to the design of the home, with soaring double height ceilings and glass doors that swing wide open to a spacious deck offering sweeping countryside views. A wooden staircase leads up to the second story, with a glass handrail that makes the space feel elegant. Sophisticated yet comfortable furnishings are in a neutral color palette with pops of blue throughout. Hardwood flooring can be seen throughout most of the main living spaces, with area rugs helping to delineate spaces, as well as adding color, texture and warmth. The surrounding property is comprised of a wooded site with spectacular views of mountains in the distance.
What We Love: The dining room is our favorite space in this home, with doors that opens to bring the outdoors in, not to mention the beautiful views to enjoy while sitting at the table savoring a delicious meal. The light fixture appears like trees branches, bringing a naturalness to the space, while some of the decor creates a Zen feeling that is very soothing.
