This beautiful vacation home was infused with sophistication, elegance and comfort by interior designer Sandra Espinet, located in the El Dorado Beach Club in San José del Cabo, Mexico. Built two years ago, the home is uniquely positioned in a gated community offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean as its backdrop. The property combines two, four bedroom penthouses in order to have one spacious home with eight bedrooms, perfect for enjoying for the holiday with entire family, parents, children, grandchildren and friends. When the homeowners purchased the property, it was in the construction stage, so they were able to make changes to their liking, as far as distribution, materials and finishes. The designer worked closely with her clients to create a relaxing and casual beach house retreat. The aesthetic has a modern character with Mexican touches throughout, while the colors of the ocean can be seen from every room. The decor has a modern eclectic mix with several Mexican and simple art pieces that were inspired by the beach. Untraditionally styled, nothing is too heavy or too formal. A serene and neutral color scheme can be seen throughout most of the interiors, while some of the rooms are infused with touches of color. Most of the fabric selection is linen and are breathable fabrics due to the damp weather. All of the spaces feature sliding glass doors that expand open to engulf the ocean, drawing in the natural light. Artificial lighting illuminates in the evening with ceiling lamps and wall sconces.
