Maison Amour is a charming Ibiza style holiday home built in the 60s by famous architect Manuel Jorge, located in the quiet area of Puchol, Jávea, Alicante, Spain. Spread out over three levels, the villa offers terraces with sweeping views over the Bay of Jávea. The home is used by the owner as a second home, but when it is not use, it is a self catering accommodation. Even though the home was in fairly good condition, the homeowner decided to make some updates, commissioning interior designer Jessica Bataille for the task. Inside, original materials have been retained with natural stone flooring and walls of iroko wood. The interior aesthetic is infused with Mediterranean style flair, bright rooms that are fresh and cozy. There is a very natural style with a mixture of vintage influences and chic reclaimed country pieces. The snow white walls and natural stone flooring are the perfect backdrop to highlight the recovered pieces that have been painted by the designer in trendy hues such as the pink desk in the living area, the blue rocking chair found on the terrace and the green tables found in the bedroom.
If you are interested in staying at Maison Amour, you are in luck, as it is used as a private vacation rental that sleeps up to ten people, with a minimum stay of seven days. The pricing is approximately $5,548/per week, from here.
We love the playful colors found in the furnishings and textures throughout the home, this would make a great vacation retreat in an ideal location!
