London Fields House 1 is a private house refurbishment and enlargement completed in 2011 byย Brian O’Tuama Architects, located in London, England, United Kingdom. The 2,110 square foot (196 square meters) renovation encompassed a brand new kitchen with a window seat and sliding glass doors that leads out to the balcony and yard. The flooring was also updated to a parquet in a herringbone pattern and was extended into the dining space. The dining area is wrapped in floor to ceiling glass and a skylight, flooding the space with natural light. From the dining room, stained glass doors open into a newย living roomย space, which also features parquet flooring. A stunning stone fireplace is the main focal point of the living room, accented by bookshelves and a cozy chair for curling up with a good book. A white and black graphic print tile runs out through the new hallway leading to the staircase. Upstairs features the private spaces of the home, with newly remodeled bedrooms and bathrooms. Parquet flooring is repeated upstairs in the adorable children’s bedroom, which helps maintain harmony in the home.
Flooded with natural light, this stunning kitchen features a beautiful subway tile backsplash in an emerald green color that really popsย against the white cabinets and white washed walls. The green is picked up again in the fabrics on the seat cushion and plush pillows nestled on the window seat. Views out towards the backyard helps to bring nature into the space.
