Freestanding Bathtub Ideas-00-1 Kindesign

A bathroom is a serene oasis where you begin or finish your day and decorating it with some stylish features such as a freestanding bathtub is a must. When designing for your bathroom, most of us are limited by space. This can make it harder to make your vision come to life. Usually, with some clever design tricks, any size of bathroom can look fantastic. The key is to infuse some spa-like features into your bathroom to make it a relaxing space. To help you with making some design decisions for your bathroom, we have put together a collection of bathrooms featuring freestanding tubs. They are in varying sizes and styles to suit your tastes.

Typically, most tubs are oval, but there are other shapes as well, as you will see below. They can be set on pedestals or be set on customized stands. They also can come in other colors besides white and in varying materials such as acrylic, porcelain, copper, and stone. You will also find varying sizes to accommodate your space and sizing needs. You can place your freestanding tub right next to a picture window if you have a view you would like to capture. If you have space constraints, consider placing your tub in a glass-enclosed shower. If you have a more spacious bathroom, design a niche with built-ins for storage… don’t forget the light fixtures! Have a look below for some fantastic inspiration.
