This contemporary mountain lake house, custom-designed by MA Studios, is tucked along Jericho Road on the south shore of Grand Lake, Colorado, where Rocky Mountain National Park meets the Arapaho National Forest. The owner spent his boyhood summers sailing on this mountain lake, then, as an adult, dreamed of building a home where he and his daughters could appreciate the community and activity that lake life provides.
A boathouse with a spacious flat roof for added outdoor living complements the main house, creating a grand total of four to five outdoor gathering and living spaces. The generous windows allow for spectacular views of the water. And a guest bedroom with an added loft provides plenty of space for visiting guests. It is a stunning retreat in absolutely breathtaking surroundings.
