Amy Carman Design is responsible for the interior architecture and design of this gorgeous empty-nester house located in New Berlin, a city in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Upon selling their Lake Geneva residence, along with all its accompanying furnishings, these homeowners embarked on a journey to construct a brand-new abode, starting anew with a blank canvas.
The chosen location for their dwelling was a sprawling multi-acre property, which held a touch of childhood nostalgia, as it was positioned directly across from the ballpark where the owner experienced the exhilaration of hitting their very first home run. The designer was enlisted to conceptualize the cabinetry, millwork, and interior architecture, while also orchestrating the furnishing of the entire home.
Recognizing that their new residence would serve as the primary gathering space for their extended family, including their adult children and numerous grandchildren, the homeowners were keen on creating an environment built explicitly for hospitality and entertaining. With this objective in mind, designer Amy Carman meticulously crafted multiple spaces that would cater to these needs.
