This gorgeous Mediterranean-style home was designed by custom home builder Thompson Custom Homes, located in Houston, Texas. On the exterior, beautiful gardens, lush landscaping, and a courtyard pool create a wonderful lifestyle for family living and entertaining. The tile on the roof is a two-piece Mission clay tile.
The luminous living spaces were stylishly designed by Bellacasa Design Associates, featuring a mix of both Old World with modern lines within Spanish-style architecture. Continue below to see the rest of this absolutely spectacular home…
Above: The light fixtures in this arched entryway are Bevelo lights from New Orleans. The doors can be purchased from BMC Millwork in Houston, Texas. The vine is a “creeping fig” and is self-supporting.
Above: The walls are a custom-colored faux plaster.
What We Love: We are loving crisp clean lines of the thick wall openings, the voluptuous assortment of arches, windows, and french doors, juxtaposed with the straight lines of the pair of antique wood doors with hand-wrought clavos detailing. The ornate detailing in the wrought-iron balcony railing and the exterior lighting also plays well with the modern plaster. Wood shutters and an authentic two-piece mission tile roof are also layers of texture that make this home design successful.
