Botticelli & Pohl together with Lynn Morgan Design have designed this stunning beach-chic home on Nantucket, a small and charming island off the coast of Massachusetts. Inside this family summer retreat, you will find a timeless design style and a beautiful palette of blue and white. The homeowner’s request was for the project team to design a home that was not typical of the island vernacular, instead, they wanted a simple, modern home filled with natural light. 

On the exterior facade, you will find a home clad with unpainted shingles and surrounded by beautiful Hydrangeas, very Nantucket style. However, on the interior, crisp white walls were painted in Chantilly Lace OC-65 by Benjamin Moore. Adding warmth to this home are light white oak floors. Above: A curved window features a built-in dining banquette with a beautiful blue and white color palette. The breakfast table was custom fabricated by Dunes and Duchess, and can seat up to 14 people! Above: In the mudroom, the bench is custom upholstered in a fabric from Peter Fasano Fabrics & Wallcoverings. Every shade of blue used throughout this dwelling can be found in this fabric selection. A charming touch to this built-in bench is the pillows. Each was custom monogrammed with the name of all of the homeowner’s grandchildren.

Above: In the dining room, the hand-painted flooring is by Nantucket Decorative Painter, Karen Ward. The artwork on the wall is by American painter Hunt Slonem. The dining table is by Old Mill Road Table Co., while the overhead light fixture is by Visual Comfort & Co.

Above: On the upper level, two guest rooms are adorned in shades of pink — one in a light pink and the other in a more vibrant shade of pink.

On the lower level, there are two bunk bedrooms, one for boys and one for girls, which can sleep up to eight. In the girls’ bunk bedroom, the beds are each adorned with an adorable Hunt Slonem Rabbit Cotton Pillow.
