Los Angeles-based J. Kurtz Design has created this warm and inviting home with beautiful transitional detailing that is situated in Superior, Wisconsin. The designers infused this home with stylish details, from furnishings and accessories to beautiful finishes and modern fittings. The interior spaces are light and airy, offering the homeowners a comfortable atmosphere for everyday living.
Large windows frame views of the property’s forested surroundings, inviting nature inside and blurring indoor-outdoor boundaries. Hardwood flooring can be found throughout most of the interiors, creating warmth, while area rugs help to add cozy texture and ground furnishings.

What We Love: This beautifully styled, light-filled home offers comfortable living spaces throughout. The slipcovered sofa in the living room invites relaxation, while the gorgeous kitchen is perfect for cooking. The breakfast bar opens to the living room, ideal for entertaining family and friends. We are especially loving the master bathroom, chic in every sense of the word!

The countertops are a white marble that were included with the vanity piece, which was purchased from Pottery Barn. The mirror is also from Pottery Barn. The wall sconces were purchased from Restoration Hardware. The subway tile is a standard 3″ x 6″ with a medium grey grout. Both were purchased from a local hardware store. The floor tile is the Cluny pattern from Granada Tile.
