b Architecture Studio has completely transformed this compact 850-square-foot beach house to live larger than its footprint, beautifully situated in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This project began with the owner’s vision of desiring a waterfront cottage for summer retreats spent with family and visiting guests.

Capturing waterfront views, this cozy and inviting home is composed of curated spaces to gather, both inside and out, for the couple and their family and friends to enjoy. Designed with white walls, open trusses, nickel-gap ceilings, and minimal furnishings, the home ensures nothing detracts from the stunning seaside views.

What We Love: This Cape Cod beach house offers its owners a wonderful getaway home for summers at the beach. We love the overall design of this home, it is very clean-lined and functional. The project team did a fantastic job of making this home live larger than its size with its indoor-outdoor living, maximizing windows throughout, and integrating a lot of built-ins. Elevating this home was also a clever idea to maximize views of the water. We love it!

This home’s elevation was raised three feet to edit out views of the road while enhancing views of the water.
