This 4,659 square foot, three bedrooms, and three-and-a-half bath dwelling is tucked into a secluded perch in The Settings of Black Mountain, a private gated community nestled in a mature forested mountainside preserve in western North Carolina.

“This is probably my favorite Craftsman home that we have built. We worked with these clients off and on for a decade to get all the details just right. What We Love: This modern craftsman mountain home showcases beautiful detailing throughout the interior living spaces. We love that this home is designed with aging-in-place in mind, making it a true “forever home” for its inhabitants. With soaring ceilings and expansive walls of glazing, the interiors are flooded with natural light while capturing serene views of the surrounding terrain. Overall, the project team did a fantastic job of creating a warm and welcoming home to be enjoyed for years to come.
