David Charlez Designs together with Custom One Homes designed this stunning house that seamlessly blends modern and rustic details, nestled on a beautiful 2.5-acre property in Woodbury, Minnesota. Encompassing 8,050 square feet of living space, this five-bedroom and six-bathroom home boasts breathtaking views of the neighboring bluff and wooded ravine. These views inspired the design palette of this home, which incorporates natural details throughout.
The great room features weathered antique wood beams while the hearth room boasts weathered wood walls. Whitewashed beams and vine-imprinted tile embellish the owner’s suite. A rough-sawn ash countertop completes the golf simulator viewing bar on the lower level. This home also includes an indoor regulation pickleball court and a private deck off the owner’s suite with a gorgeous view of the pool.
Bold contrast is achieved throughout the home with the interplay of black and white, while contemporary flair is introduced by juxtaposing geometric shapes against natural elements.
