This light and airy transitional style home designed by DeLuca Designs Architects together with Chango & Co. is nestled in Cold Spring Harbor, a quaint town in Suffolk County, on the North Shore of Long Island in New York. The architect was responsible for the exterior and structural architecture, while the designer handled the interior architecture of the dwelling.
For the interior of the home, the owner desired a palette that blends white, black, and gray tones. Another design detail on the wishlist was to integrate steel windows into the home. Even with its bright, airy interiors—including the double-volume living room—the home feels cozy and inviting. The desired palette radiates through the public areas, while the children’s rooms are colorful and lively.
