This warm and welcoming farmhouse-style home was designed by architectural studio Alisberg Parker, located in Greenburgh, a town in Westchester County, New York. The young family wished to create a relaxing and inviting interior atmosphere for their modern-day traditional farmhouse.
The exterior of the dwelling gives the presence of an early 1900s New England farmhouse, complete with the traditional covered porch, metal standing seam roof, rafter tails, and barn-style garage. Yet, the interior gives way to a modern and fresh spin on the farmhouse style. Continue below to see the rest of this inspiring home tour…
What We Love: This inviting farmhouse-style home in Westchester County offers its inhabitants a breezy atmosphere thanks to an open and spacious floor plan and soaring ceilings. The warmth of the wood flooring creates a cozy feel, while the use of area rugs helps to define living spaces and add layers of texture. Overall, we find the design of this home to be very habitable, we are especially loving the backyard swing, a fantastic spot to relax and unwind!
