Having spent numerous years on their previous property, the homeowners sought to craft a residence that seamlessly melds with the natural surroundings, inviting in boundless vistas, natural light, and fresh air.

Positioned along an east-west axis, the site gracefully spans the space between the northern shores of Lake Sunapee and a shared drive to the south. This thoughtfully linear layout offers an abundance of windows, which gracefully frame the shoreline. As a result, every major living space within the home enjoys sweeping, panoramic views of the tranquil waters, creating a wonderful living experience.

Along the street-facing side, strategically placed clerestory windows harness the southern sunlight while safeguarding the residents’ privacy from the bustling drive.

With direct views of the tranquil lake, the entry vestibule serves as the central hub of circulation within the residence, seamlessly connecting communal living spaces with the primary bedrooms and guest accommodations.
