This charming Dutch colonial house was designed for a family of eight by Bradford R. Houston Design in collaboration with Brandon Bodell Construction, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This lot presented many challenges with slope, setback requirements, the shape of the lot, and the owner’s desire to have an indoor sport court but the project team pulled it off perfectly.
This timeless beauty features beautiful craftsmanship and close collaboration between the design team and the homeowners to create a true work of art. Continue below to see the backyard of this home, it is beyond incredible with its large patios and amazing slide that splashes into a sumptuous swimming pool.

What We Love: This Dutch colonial house presents the most beautiful curb appeal from the street. We love how the front facade appears smaller in scale and completely opens up at the back of the home. There are so many notable details throughout the design, from the beautiful fireplaces to the Dutch door in the mudroom, the warm material palette, and the fabulous backyard that is perfect for family living and entertaining.
