Grand Tradition Homes in collaboration with Kate Marker Interiors has designed this beautifully charming modern farmhouse-style home located in Barrington, Illinois.  This residence was originally built as interior designer Kate Marker’s personal family home. They have since moved to build another dream home, but she has left her trademark style for this home’s lucky new inhabitants.

From exterior to interior, this dwelling exudes charm and character featuring 3,450 square feet of living space with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. A stunning entry courtyard with gas lanterns and French doors greets you as you approach the front door. Inside tall ceilings and a fabulous open floor plan with stylish design details set the tone.

This dwelling also has a finished lookout lower level with a great room, guest bedroom, and a bathroom.

What We Love: This charming modern farmhouse home has the most stylish details at every turn. From the gorgeous exterior facade with its inviting front door to the beautifully designed living spaces — especially the kitchen with its warm mix of wood and white marble along with the exquisite pendant lights — we are just loving every detail in this home.
