Pu’uwai Design & Construction has designed this modern beach style house that blurs the lines between indoors and out, located on the south shore of Kauai, Hawaii. This home is the perfect blend of modern and traditional design.  The use of natural wood and white board and batten paneling create the perfect mix of relaxed elegance.

The swimming pool features color changing lights that illuminates the pool blue, while pocketing glass doors provides a seamless indoor-outdoor transition. Outdoors, the lanai flooring is a porcelain gray tile while the teak furnishings are upholstered in brightly hued fabrics. An antique daybed was covered into a hanging bed near the main bedroom suite.
