Beau Clowney Architects is responsible for the design of this Lowcountry beach house located on the Isle of Palms, a unique barrier island on the coast of South Carolina. This beachfront pad perfectly marries a traditional Lowcountry exterior with a modern interior. When constructing this dwelling, the project team worked diligently to select the right materials to withstand our coastal climate.

From the cedar roof shingles to the teak decking, this home was built to last. The inside features a private outdoor shower, plaster-filled pecky cypress walls and ceiling, and a four-season room. The layout of the home was designed for remote work with a private office space that can also be used as a guest suite.
