Jessica Helgerson Interior Design has completed this gorgeous old house renovation located in the countryside of Iowa City, a city in Johnson County, Iowa. This small city is home to the famed Iowa Writers Workshop as well as Prairie Lights, which is one of the top independently owned bookstores in the country.
In addition to its deep literary roots, it is also home to iconic American painter Grant Wood. It is a small midwestern city with a quiet beautiful intellectual charm of which was reflected in this remodel, which celebrates the vintage of the house as well as the greater context of the city in which it stands.
