This mountain lake house designed by Line 8 Design in collaboration with Studio McGee sits atop Victory Ranch with direct views of Deer Valley and the Jordanelle Reservoir in Wasatch County, Utah. Its forms and materials are traditional mountain design mixed with modern influences. Generous glazing creates views from every room and its cozy spaces make it livable both indoors and out.
The homeowners desired a classic, cozy, mountain lake house, with a consistent material palette of rustic warm woods, iron, warm whites, a hint of moody blues, and an abundance of texture. Stepping inside this home, the first thing you see are the exposed trusses with an eye-catching steel cable detail. It’s the finishing touch for a rustic, cozy space.
