Cornerstone Architects created this upside down house for family living and entertain, located along the golf course in Barton Creek, Travis County, Texas. This contemporary home sits on a sloping lot that incorporates a large sport court in the backyard. The entry opens up to a glass wall offering a view and direct access to the backyard for guests.
The lower level encompasses a sport court, viewing cabana, separate exercise room, media and game room, two boys’ bedrooms, a separate bunk room and a family covered porch for ping pong, a storage closet for sports equipment and an area for watching sports on TV.

The main level features a large covered outdoor living and dining area, while the main living area is completely open to the dining and kitchen areas.
What We Love: This upside down house offers its inhabitants a fabulous family home with comfortable spaces for gathering and entertaining. The interiors are characterized by sun-drenched living spaces courtesy of large windows framing views of this home’s lovely surroundings. We are especially loving the incredible kitchen, with a large island and plenty of space for cooking and casual dining.
