Hufft Projects together with Duet Design Group has created this Cherry Hills Village, Colorado house with beautiful contemporary styling. This project began with a sophisticated and serene feel, yet the homeowners wished to get playful with light fixtures and fabrics. They requested the designers to add a warm mix of textures and furnishings to the tonal palette. Continue below to see the rest of this sophisticated dream house tour…

What We Love: This sophisticated dream house offers a warm and inviting design aesthetic throughout its fabulous interiors. A neutral color palette helps to not detract from the tranquil environment that surrounds this home. Outdoors, expansive patios, and covered decks help to provide ample space for gathering together with family and friends. From the home office to the kitchen, this home offers some fantastic design inspiration!

The light fixtures above the island are from Moooi, called Heracleum II. For the banquette, the designer opted for kid-friendly faux leather sourced from Bretano.
Above: To the right of the sink, the tall cabinets feature back-painted glass. This provides a smoky, non-reflective quality. The homeowner initially wanted clear glass, but was concerned about organization, therefore the back-painted glass was an ideal compromise.
