This gorgeous lodge style home exuding old world luxury was designed by Ward-Young Architecture, located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, California. Encompassing 8,900 square feet of living space, this beautiful traditional style home offers sweeping views over Lake Tahoe. The home contains five bedrooms, a four-car attached garage, five gas burning fireplaces, a spiral staircase and an exterior terrace with easy access down to the lake front. From the Vermont slate roofing, copper paneled turrets and stone exterior to the massive hand-hewn beams, heavy wrought ironwork and floating spiral staircase inside, every detail of this residence showcases exquisite materials and superb artisan craftsmanship.

To punctuate the aesthetic throughout this home, 68 custom Hammerton light fixtures representing 21 signature designs blend the timelessness of old world European design with the warmth of organic style. By offering a combination of distinctive and shared design elements — including distressed edges, decorative pins, joints and straps, scrollwork, twists, light-hued diffusers and complementary finishes — each fixture design stands on its own while collectively unifying the home’s overall aesthetic.

Such impressive, exquisite attention to detail all throughout the Lake Tahoe Lodge. Esthetically, I might have only suggested tucking the microwave into base cabinetry, or doing away with it completely. The addition of a pot filler faucet would have also proved functional. Otherwise hats off to WYArch for a remarkable project.

I am so in love with Lodge Home! Absolutely beautiful!!! I am imagining all the memories we can make with my family and friends in this home! I would like to build this in the Black Hills of SD! Spearfish Canyon! Is it possible to purchase the floor plans or blue prints for this home?

This home is spectacular! I can’t even imagine living in a house this big but if I ever had the means to purchase a home this big this would be my FIRST choice. Unbelievably beautiful- certainly a castle for 2019.
