They’re all very beautiful, but when I have just a simple centerpiece on my table, it seems like there isn’t any space for FOOD.

This is why I do a buffet in the kitchen around the island. Then guests can eat in the dining room with the beautiful table scapes and lovely place settings.

My husband and I live in a large motorcoach yet dining table space is at a premium so I decorate with the placesettings patterns and serving pieces. For Easter a cabbage plates, large goblet drinkware, folded napkins into bunny ears, small dessert goblets, etc. Each placesetting is slightly different to make the total table interesting, even down to the salt and pepper shakers for eye appeal. I also find that silk “baby ribbons” tied to stemware or napkins adds that extra tablescape appeal.
