Charlie & Co. Design designed this modern home for an extended family to adapt to the needs of multi-generational living, located in Minnesota. The dwelling was created to house four adults, two kids and a giant Great Dane under one roof. This multi-generational dream home provides plenty of space and privacy for every family member. Expansive banks of windows and fabulous outdoor spaces were created — including a third level rooftop deck — designed to maximize views of the spectacular Mississippi River.

The forms were created to allow views to the river valley from multiple spaces throughout the home while maintaining privacy for the occupants. Various living spaces were sought after, including the rooftop deck, to maximize the options and views for the entire family.
