This contemporary mountain cabin was designed by Kelly & Stone Architects, located in the village of Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada. The village is named for the hot springs located in the nearby Kootenay National Park, just over an hours drive from Banff, Alberta. The area showcases beautiful views of the Purcell Mountain Range. The house itself is a masterpiece of expressed structural elements, including rammed earth, timber and steel.
Above: The gorgeous entrance of this home features Bridgewood Slabs from Barkman Concrete. The slabs have the beauty of wood yet offers the durability of concrete. The realistic texture of the wood is created by using actual wood planks, giving the warmth of wood without the maintenance. “Unlike traditional wood surfaces, Bridgewood will never rot, warp, splinter or fade. It’ll never need to be stained or sealed like wood, or crack like stamped concrete.”

This is the ultimate getaway with natural hot springs nearby and complete privacy, just the sights and sounds of nature. This unique home was designed with a fantastic use of materials, while the furnishings and decor are comfortable and inviting.
