This fabulous resort-like mountain getaway was designed by Montana-based design-build firm Zoske Construction, nestled on 44-acre parcel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The site offers dramatic views from every direction, most notably the Teton Mountain Range, the Snake and Gros Ventre rivers, and Yellowstone National Park.

Encompassing 13,350 square feet of living space, this home comes complete with a 1,200 bottle wine cellar that was constructed from repurposed brick, sourced from a train depot in Montana. A dumbwaiter from the wine cellar has direct access into the dining room, ideal for this family who loves to entertain.

The homeowner has three adult sons and loves to entertain, so the design called for three master bedroom suites, plus three additional bedroom suites, along with a separate apartment above the garage. A vast collection of Native American artwork inspired the design direction, which was ‘New West’.

The project team stuck to clean lines, while infusing exquisite materials and luxurious furnishings and finishes. Examples of unique materials used to construct this home includes: reclaimed timber sourced from a silver mine in British Columbia — exterior 12-by-12 fir timbers. A textile mill in Virginia produced 10-by-10 white oak timbers, while the ceilings feature engineered Western clear cedar from British Columbia.

The design incorporated wow-factor materials such as honed Turkish limestone flooring in the hallways, while Flatwillow from Montana lines the fireplace in the great room. The entire home has been designed around hosting and entertaining guests. The residence was designed to maximize the idyllic views surrounding it. Guests can enjoy the wild animals that roam the property as well as the seclusion from neighboring homes.
