Morgante Wilson Architects designed this spectacular home built with mountain-contemporary living in mind, located in Avon, a town in Eagle County, Colorado. The goal of designing this home was to take advantage of the magnificent views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The beautiful landscape exhibits the drive and passion behind the design of this residence.
There are two stories and a finished basement level for this home, which is built into a mountainside. Upon entrance into the home, you are greeted by an open floor plan layout, which consists of the kitchen, dining and living room. Additionally, the auxiliary spaces are on this level. Expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows helps to frame sweeping mountain vistas. On the upper level is a private home office and the master bedroom suite, along with guest bedrooms and bathrooms.

What We Love: This residence offers the finest in mountain-contemporary living, offering stylish yet comfortable furnishings to enjoy the inviting views through walls of glass. This would be the ideal home for those who enjoy being active outdoors all year round. There is plenty to offer in Colorado, especially some amazing ski hills. This luminous home had us at the entryway… and those solar panels on the roof are the icing on the cake!… Readers, how about you, are there any details in this home that caught your eye? The fireplace not only provides ambiance to the great room, but also helps to keep inhabitants feeling cozy and warm during the cold winter months.
