Mediterranean-inspired home meets Texas Hill Country modern

mediterranean-exterior

This Mediterranean-inspired home was custom designed by Geschke Group Architecture and built by John Siemering Homes, located in Dripping Springs, a city in Hays County, Texas. Designed for family living, this abode is set on an idyllic property featuring a winding private drive, low cliffs and a creek running through it. The Mediterranean-inspired exterior showcases beautiful custom stone siding, arched wood and glass double front doors and a clay tile roof.

Design studio Jennifer Garner Interiors was responsible for the interiors scheme of this home. The interior showcases clean, modern lines with pops of color. Neutral natural stone tile, light wide plank wood floors, combined with special touches: steel door unit enclosed wine room, waterfall exotic in the stone counters, exposed framing guest room, and a custom closet to die for.

The interior of the home has a warm and airy feel thanks to custom bleached Douglas fir beams, wide planked light wood floors and internal archways throughout. Black framed windows and Fleetwood sliding doors let in an abundance of natural light, further brightening the space and contributing to the modern atmosphere. The open living space features a custom limestone fireplace surround and flows seamlessly to the dining and kitchen areas.
