Idyllic beach house frames seaside views on Balboa Island, California

This stunning transitional eclectic style home was designed by Brandon Architects in collaboration with Details a Design Firm, located on the Balboa Peninsula in the coastal community of Newport Beach, California. The blending of both traditional and contemporary styles, color, furnishings and finishes is complimented by seaside views, spectacular sunsets and idyllic year-round tropical weather.

Above: The open plan kitchen, living and dining room showcases spectacular views over the Balboa Island harbor through an expansive floor-to-ceiling NanaWall glass wall system. The bi-fold glass helps to blur the boundaries between indoors and out. This is very idyllic for entertaining, as this fantastic great room area spills out onto the expansive deck with dining and lounging spaces. A bridge leads to the boat launch, which is a great way to enjoy this charming island!

What We Love: This fabulous home on Balboa Island offers open and spacious interiors that are perfect for living and entertaining. A light color palette with blue accents helps to keep the focus on the magnificent water views.
