Oz Architects along with builder Magelby Construction were responsible for the design of this contemporary ski house located in the heart of Old Town Park City, Utah. This expansive mountain retreat was designed as a ski-in, ski-out family compound. The structure features three living units that are combinable in a variety of configurations, with a rooftop deck that boasts a stainless steel spa, fire pit, and a living roof.
What We Love: The interior layout of this contemporary ski house is clean yet open and inviting with wood details infusing warmth throughout. This home offers everything one could possibly need in a mountain ski retreat, relaxing lounge spaces with fireplaces, fireplaces and outdoor viewing decks with fire features. We love that this was designed to be enjoyed by extended family members, a place where family can come together and have private spaces yet be able to enjoy activities together. Overall a beautifully designed home… Readers, would you agree? Are there any details in the design of this home that you would have liked to have seen done differently?
