This light and airy lake house by architecture and interior design studio Wright Design is located at The Cliffs at Keowee Springs in Six Mile, South Carolina. The project is known as ‘Bright Water Bay’, showcasing an open concept floor plan with refined clean lines that are reflected throughout. This includes details such as the reclaimed, wide plank, heart pine floors, shiplap walls, V-groove ceilings and concealed cabinetry.
The exterior facade features a mixture of Doggett Mountain stone with board and batten siding, accented by a copper roof. While theย interiors are characterized by a warm and welcoming farmhouse style aesthetic.
What We Love: This light and airy lake house offers its inhabitants a comfortable and relaxing place to call home. With the added warmth of reclaimed flooring and the coziness of the shiplap walls, there are plenty of details to fall in love with. A soothing, neutral color scheme promotes a tranquil environment for everyday living. An open floor plan that is well connected to the outdoor living spaces helps to facilitate simple entertaining with family and friends… Readers, what are your thoughts on the overall design of this home, could you envision yourself living here?
