An old three-story townhouse has been completely modernized for its owners to enjoy through all seasons by EPIC Construcciones. The residence is ideally located in the Calle Lleó, in the heart of the historic town of Pollença, Spain. The scope of the project was to maintain the essence of the original structure while incorporating current design trends. The home was constructed 150 years ago by a prominent Mallorcan family. Knowing the property has a lot of history, its current owners were wishing to preserve its beautiful memories.

When the new homeowners took possession of the home back in 2012, they had found that it had been somewhat neglected. It was necessary to rebuild the structure to give it they air they wanted. The restoration process was considered as a return to the basic structure of the house, with its varying heights and different rooms. The project was managed by LF91 Project Management, who was responsible for both the direction of the work and the interior design of the project.

The property has a spacious patio with a swimming pool, in addition to the outdoor terraces with which it has at different levels of construction. In the reform, the original architecture was respected while the elements were combined with a new and modern approach. The house is designed to be used all year round. It was pertinent that it be fresh and shaded in during the summer months and bright, comfortable and cozy during the winter.
