A modern home with innovation design was completed in 2014 by the studio of Ramón Esteve, located in Alboraya, a town in the province of Valencia, Spain. This spectacular home of 7,158 square feet (665 square meters) is spread out over three levels, with a penthouse overlooking lush gardens. The lower level houses the entryway to the home, a garage and a guest room. On the first level are the bedrooms and the second level is the main living spaces, which are positioned o this level to allow better views and natural daylight. The house is topped with a penthouse veranda. The dwelling was constructed with sustainable features, generating electricity for the whole home through a system of geothermal wells. Temperature controls are resolved through the use of underfloor heating and each room has natural cross ventilation. A home automation system is used to control all the mechanisms throughout the home, seeking to optimize each.
What We Love: The clean lines and wood elements that infuses warmth into an otherwise white interior. The penthouse veranda offers a pleasant outdoor oasis in the middle of an urban sprawl.
