Apartment Brooklin is a two level contemporary home reflecting a cosmopolitan atmosphere, designed by AR Arquitetura & Design, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The property consists of 3,121 square feet (290 square meters) of living space, designed with cozy yet practical living environments to entertain family and friends. The decoration was to be timeless yet not too over done and reflect the homeowners passion for technology, travel, art and books. The architect creates living spaces that are bright and airy, filled with a neutral color palette and natural materials. Wood finishes can be seen throughout the home, with wood flooring running through the living room as well as some of the other spaces. The bedrooms reflect the styles of each inhabitant, through the finishes, textures and decor. On display in the home office are books and items picked up from travels as well as a collection of cameras, adding character to the space. An outdoor terrace can be seen through a wall of windows, visually connecting the outdoors with the interior. A panel feature wall of lush greenery works well for plants that need partial shade, which is kept watered through an automated irrigation system. Finally, the kitchen has been integrated into the canopy, serving as a gourmet space for entertaining guests and a pleasant space for family members to come together.
