This stone family house has been completely restored by interior architecture firm AM Designs, located in Avignon, a city in southeastern France’s Provence region. The architect completed this renovation with a single motto, to respect the existing architecture. Creating a timeless appeal so that ten years later the home would still look amazing, simple lines and beautiful materials were incorporated into the design. Attention to detail was of utmost importance, with skilled trades people and artisans utilized to restore the home to its former glory. Traditional architecture was incorporated indoors and out. Custom furnishings and decorative elements were created to fit the size of each space to perfection. Creating a soft atmosphere with character, the interior architects added some designer furniture icons, such as Vitra, Knoll and Cassina. Large pictures frame the walls, adding personality to the space. A wonderful mix of contemporary and antiques is found throughout, with pops of color popping up in the finishes and accessories. Beautiful outdoor living spaces and a stone enclosed swimming pool helps the homeowners to thoroughly enjoy the home and take advantage of warm summer days.
This medieval village house features mounted stone, walls enclosed terraces and a swimming pool. Large trees and plantings shades the loungers from the warm summer sun, creating a nice respite.
