The talented design team at Locati Architects & Interiors designed this amazing rustic ranch home that is located near Lake Tahoe, in Gardnerville, Nevada. Aptly titled “Job’s Peak Ranch Residence”, the architects were responsible for the both architecture and the interiors of this project. This expansive home features a series of structures, with the main house and a guest house, appearing like a small, quaint village. The exterior facade features projected gable overhangs and a mix of vertical and horizontal wood siding. The home is surrounded by mature growth trees and stunning rugged landscape with a lovely waterfall feature and a bridge crossing comprised of cut logs. Inside you are greeted by a beautifully designed great room with vaulted ceilings, wood trusses that matches the shape of the expansive windows and a stone clad fireplace. This space features elegant yet rustic styling, creating warmth and comfort. Cozy seating arrangements allows for plenty of space to accommodate entertaining friends and family.
Wood beams helps to define the great room, while high and lower ceiling heights delineates different spaces throughout. The great room is open to the kitchen and dining room, providing a nice flow for entertaining guests.

What We Love: The master bedroom is one of our favorite spaces in this home, with a giant picture window that captures a magnificent view of the exterior landscape. This helps to blur the boundaries between indoors and out, drawing nature into the bedroom, creating a very relaxing space. The overall design of this home is very comfortable and cozy, a livable space to call home. What do you think, do you like the overall style and design of this ranch house in Nevada?
This spacious island kitchen features an old world charm with a built-in banquette seating offering a cozy and casual breakfast nook.
