A masterful exterior that commands attention

The exterior is a play of traditional vernacular shingled forms with simpler, more modern expressions. The vernacular volumes are complemented by white mullioned casements and shutters, while the more modern stone walled recreation wing utilizes dark bronze windows, doors and lighting accents in stone walls. The dark bronze metal roof ties together all the volumes. The rear terrace, running the full length of the house, features a swimming pool and outdoor entertainment areas for enjoying the waterfront.
An elegant interior with a warm coastal palette

The interior is an elegant transitional style, leaning modern, with a neutral palette accented with warm wood tones. The entire house is focused on the water views, with circulation spaces found along a spine to the front. The floors of the house are character grade white oak, with the exception of the sitting and craft room wing, where the floor is a wood framework of diagonal squares with a rustic brick inlay.
A kitchen and great room made for gathering

The Kitchen has soft white upper cabinets to the ceiling and lower cabinets, and a range hood in white oak. In the Great Room, a wide set of folding doors invites the space to overlap with the terrace for entertaining on warm summer nights. In the kitchen, there is a folding window that opens to an exterior bar top and outdoor seating.

Outdoor living designed for waterfront entertaining

The rear terrace runs the full length of the house and is nothing short of spectacular, featuring a swimming pool and expansive outdoor entertainment areas perfectly positioned for enjoying the waterfront in every season. In the great room, a wide set of folding doors dissolves the boundary between indoors and outdoors, inviting the living space to spill onto the terrace on warm summer evenings.

At the kitchen, a folding window opens to an exterior bar top and outdoor seating — a clever and convivial detail that makes entertaining feel completely effortless.

A show-stopping recreation room

The recreation room has a lofty gable ceiling with antique wood beams complementing a rustic stone fireplace and views in two directions. In this room, the cabinetry is a soft slate blue with wire-mesh inserts in the upper cabinets. The office has a moodier tone in more somber-hued cabinetry and brass accents.

Five bedrooms designed for family life

The second story includes five bedrooms. The Owner’s Bedroom Suite and Guest Rooms are understated and elegant in soft hues, while the children’s bedrooms sport lofts with ladders to special play areas. The second floor also includes a playroom and gym separated by a library wall.

Charm and character in every detail

Inside, warm wood accents, exposed beams, classic brass hardware, and a soft coastal palette come together to emphasize life by the water. A vaulted recreation room, mudroom featuring Chicago brick flooring with a custom wooden inlay, charming mint green back kitchen, and jewel box powder room add layers of character – creating a retreat that feels both playful and serene.
