Ambrose Custom Builders designed and built this award-winning barn-style house, nestled on 5.5 acres and situated less than a mile from Woodstock Village Green, Vermont. Encompassing 3,484 square feet of living spaces, this warm and welcoming home offers four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The house is architecturally designed to maximize natural light throughout the living space. The interior decor combines reclaimed 150-year-old Vermont beams with modern amenities. It features large windows, eight-foot doors, nine-foot ceilings, and an atrium that opens all the way to the cupola 35 feet above the first floor, allowing light to flood the interior spaces.

The classic covered porch overlooks a neighboring pond. Extensive renovations over the past three years include a new gourmet kitchen, updated appliances, upgraded bathrooms, and the complete finishing of the lower level into a living space with an additional bathroom.

So simple, and so beautiful. It has such a sense of calmness. I love the soft green kitchen.

I love the exterior of this home. The entryway, and kitchen exuded a charm and warmth that unfortunately was not carried throughout the home. In the remaining spaces the interior design fell flat, and an opportunity was lost to make this a cohesive, truly charming home
to visit during the holidays and throughout the year.
