This stunning redevelopment of a private estate is situated on 640 acres of agricultural land in rural Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, offering a modern interpretation of historic stone structures to reconfigure and connect interior and exterior spaces.
The 60,000-square-foot structure took three years to complete and includes buildings dating back to the early 1800s.
Encompassing 14 buildings, the modern yet comfortable estate consists of a main house with an orangerie, an adjacent yoga studio, three guesthouses, a dining hall with a commercial kitchen, barns (including a milking parlor, cheese processing facility, and cheese caves), and various agricultural buildings, greenhouses, gardens, and orchards.
As a sustainable and aesthetic measure, the designers reused salvaged materials throughout, which include potting shed timbers, brick, and greenhouse casework and doors.

What We Love: The soaring ceilings, natural light, and the stunning mix of stone, brick, tile, wood, and glass make this home ultra charming and very visually pleasing to the eye. What do you think of this property? Let us know what you like or do not like about it in the comments section below!
