A delightful Hawaiian home designed for multi-generational family living

Kelly & Stone Architects is responsible for the design of this multi-generational family home that features a traditional Tahoe lodge design with modern elements, located in Koloa on the south shore of Kauai, Hawaii. Entering into this home, the main level has a spacious gabled great room with heavy timber trusses that functions as a gathering area for extended family.

This spacious and airy home is ideally positioned on a nearly 1.5-acre lot, encompassing 4,857 square feet of living space with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. An open living area is framed by a rustic fireplace at one end and a custom kitchen range unit at the other. Both are crafted of locally sourced granite.

What We Love: This Hawaiian home offers its inhabitants a wonderful multi-generational family home to enjoy indoor-outdoor living.  Surrounded by a beautiful tropical setting adds to the overall appeal of this home created to take advantage of both fresh sea breezes and ocean views. Overall, we are loving the concept of this home where a large family can cohabitate under one roof in an idyllic setting.

Not in agreement with previous post, but I am curious as to why you need storage space for snowmobiles in Hawaii

Nineteen beautiful photos but none of the living room, dining room, cooking area, bedrooms or bathrooms. I respect your privacy but you want to show off your house without really showing us your house which is a waste of our time.
When you look at the last picture notice that the other houses blend in with the hills while this one sticks out like a sore thumb. FLW and I would not approve.
