Note: There is a recess behind the television set that allows for the television to lie flat against the stone when it’s not being used. 18. In this beautiful North Carolina living room, the fireplace stone is Tennessee Field Stone in varying sizes. The hearth is around 17″ and the top of the mantel is approximately 70″. The mantel is a piece of “reclaimed” antique beam. I truly do not understand why an animal’s severed head can be considered positive decorative ambiance.
