Thompson Studio Architects in collaboration with Singlepoint Design Build is responsible for the design of this elegant modern farmhouse located in Tiburon, a town in Marin County, California. This truly unique home offers grand open indoor-outdoor living with designer elements throughout. This was a ground-up build, including all the site work and the waterfront dock.
A spectacular statement of design, luxury, and lifestyle, this dwelling offers 4,838 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The right combination of purpose, architecture, and elegance comes together. A dream owner’s suite with a view deck, a spacious walk-in closet, and a spa-like bath. The central courtyard and outdoor kitchen make entertaining a pleasure.

Above: The wood flooring is an Engineered Hardwood from Provenza. A custom fabricated front door provides a unique touch.
Above: The stair treads are made from solid Bay Laurel. They are wider at the bottom and get more narrow at the top. Starting at about 4′-6″ wide and going down to about 3′. They are 3.5″ thick and 12″ deep. The railings were custom-made by a steel fabricator.
Above: The hood is the “Cirrus” by Best. You need to plan to have enough room above the flush hood for the ducting and blower.
Above: The cabinet doors are mdf painted in a shop with conversion varnish.
Above: The desk was custom built. The base is made from leftover I beams and some steel plates. The top is a slab of Giant Sequoia that was felled during the Rim Fire. The wall paint color is Tweed Coat CSP-85 | Benjamin Moore.
