This rustic mountain retreat was designed by Think Architecture along with builder Magleby Construction, located on a 160-acres site in Woodland, Utah. This private estate is nestled in the community of Wolf Creek Ranch, a 13,200-acre development just outside of Park City. This allows homeowners to feel like they are living in the middle of nowhere, except with the luxuries of a gated community.
Surrounded by Aspen trees and mature growth scrub oaks, this beautiful home showcases unobstructed views of Mt. Timpanogos, the Wasatch Range. Designed as an all season generational vacation retreat for a couple and their family. This warm and inviting getaway was designed around a mountain-ranch concept. What started the design of this estate, was the wife’s passion for art—wishing to have an art studio.
This Utah mountain retreat overlooks a private lake that spans over an acre. An expansive 65-foot bridge leads from the main driveway, across the 18-foot-deep lake to the home’s entry porch and motor court.
The design resembled an old homestead cabin, comprised of stone and timber. It is nestled on the water’s edge and surrounded by Aspen trees—with breathtaking vistas of the Wasatch mountain range. The main house encompasses seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. There is also a barn/guest house on the property. Interior design studio AMB Design was responsible for the rustic interiors infused with elegance.
