Casa Giardino is an old stone house that has undergone a charming restoration, nestled on a hill just outside of the historic town of Spello, in Umbria, Italy. This home offers the perfect family vacation home, available for rent on Holiday Architecture. The house is comprised of several historic structures—some of the walls date as far back as the 16th century. The interiors reflect a cheerful setting with splashes of brightly colored furnishings, fabrics, and decor throughout. Picture windows throughout this home magnify the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. Architects Massimo Berzetta and Andrea Falkner were commissioned to renovate this historical property.

Inside this historic stone house you will find a combination of period pieces, accumulated items from worldly travels and modern designs. The color scheme runs the narrative in this home. Each space has been decorated with a color theme, whether it be green, red, blue or yellow. In the kitchen you will find accented charcoal walls and green accents. The inspiration for these hues comes from the painting above the sofa in the living room. The living room color scheme was also inspired by the same painting.
