Allard Ward Architects were responsible for the design of this brand new modernized English country house, located in Green Hills, an area of Nashville, Tennessee. The exterior facade features white brick, simple shingled rooflines and dormer windows, while lush landscaping adds to a beautiful curb appeal. As we step inside, you will notice fresh, crisp white walls, well-proportioned rooms that are brimming with stylish furnishings and tasteful decorative pieces that are restrained but just enough to give a lived-in feel. The goal of the design was to create transparency throughout the interiors, bringing in natural light and views of the surrounding property. The main hub of the home features an open floor plan consisting of the living room, kitchen and breakfast nook. French doors and glass helps to illuminate these spaces and provide access to the back of the property to make living and entertaining a breeze. While the charming architecture of the exterior of the home invites you in, bright and elegant spaces makes this home very livable.
In case you were wondering about what color the brick was painted, you are in luck, we have the source! It is a Ralph Lauren paint called “Wash Basin”.
What We Love: The courtyard entryway and the criss-cross vines crawling up the front of the brick wall of the exterior entryway adds character and charm to the home. Lantern light fixtures adds a quaint country feel, and the interior spaces feel so serene and welcoming, a breath of fresh air! How do you feel about this home, do you like it?
