An extensive home renovation creating a feeling of spaciousness was carried out by Egue y Seta, located in the town of Benicassim on the coast of Valencia, Spain. The reform of this 3,229 square foot (300 square meters) house involved removing unnecessary partitions and creating a strong visual connection to the outside. The journey begins as one enters the home through the main main entrance surrounded by gardens. Outdoor spaces were given a complete overhaul with a pool and terrace, including new landscaping and improved circulation, which can all be viewed from indoors through expanded windows. An open plan sunroom, kitchen and living space all look directly into a lush garden. Spread out over three levels, the only divisions left in the home are those that are structural. Delineation of spaces is achieved only through the change of flooring, wall coverings and ceiling heights. Versatile and functional furnishings are showcased throughout, with a mixed design aesthetic that makes the spaces feel balanced, timeless and universal.

A cozy living area is dominated by warmth of wood on the surrounding walls, embracing clean lines and color. The spaces offers plenty of function with built-in bookshelves and storage for audio-visual equipment. With concrete flooring continues the continuity of this level, leading to a dining room without having to through doorways. The kitchen island is comprised of oak on an iron support structure, creating an expansive space surrounded by garden. The kitchen breaks the continuity of concrete flooring, showcasing a daring combination of traditional ceramic finishes. The lowered ceiling also defines the space, and the finishes features bright stainless steel and stylish decorative items. The upper floor area is devoted to rest and relaxation, an internal garden was installed as an axis of movement and visual embellishment which can be enjoyed by all bedrooms through transparent glass partitions. All bedrooms enjoy views over the gardens of the house perimeter and interior garden.The same oak flooring runs throughout the private areas of ​​the house, except for the bathrooms which have tile.
